I am a mum to two children at St Marks and a member of the governing board. St Marks didn't have an after school club up until September 2019 when XP Kids opened. I felt that in order to attract working parents to the school we needed to offer after school care, that is where XP Kids was born. It is named after my children Xander & Poppy!
Although I have a great team of staff in place I am often at the club making sure the children & staff are happy.

Manager - Mel Jewell
Mel joined the team in November 2020 as a play worker, from a local primary school where she worked as a 1:1 SEN assistant. Mel has a love for all things arts & crafts and the children love her :)
From September 2021 Mel was promoted to Club Manager and is in charge of the day to day running of the club, if you have any questions you are welcome to ask her when you collect your child / children. Mel is also a TA at St Marks currently in Year 3.

Session Play workers
Luke Stevens
Luke joined the team in February 2021, mid lockdown! He came from a local after school club, Luke has been in charge of the KS2 bubble while we have had to have them, he is often found playing outdoor games with the older children and they love having him involved in their football / tennis matches!

Lulu White
Lulu joined the team in April 2023, she is studying Midwifery at Kennet School. Lulu is fabulous with the children and they all love her so much, she is like the cool big sister to them all, she can usually be found pretending to be a Princess or a Patient to our quite heavy handed "doctors"
